The fabric with which the +Carbon base layer is made (Polypropylene and Carbon fibre) has the ability to expel moisture quickly and leave the skin dry even during the most intense effort, keeping the body temperature constant and giving a feeling of comfort while in contact with the skin. Compared to most Biotex technical underwear, this garment has a softer fit and it is not too tight to the body; but to be effective it is important to choose the right size. The two raw materials with which the garment is produced, BTX polypropylene and carbon, guarantee its complete and permanent antibacterial effect, thus counteracting the creation of bad odours. Comfort is enhanced by the raglan cut of the sleeves and the absence of seams.
The +Carbon sleeveless base layer can be worn both as a first layer (combined with other technical and breathable garments) on days when temperatures are cool/mild (from +5° to +15°) and as a single layer on the skin in the hotter months, in temperatures of up to 30°. The Polypropylene and Carbon Fibre fabric offers an excellent covering capacity. We recommend wearing this garment when temperature is within the range specified above. But to decide what will meet your needs, which will vary depending on the sport, the climatic conditions and your own temperature regulation, you should evaluate what is the average temperature that you will encounter. In order to increase the effectiveness of its thermal and protective properties, we recommend wearing several technical layers in combination, in line with Biotex philosophy. Take care of your Biotex garments and they will last for a long time. Biotex uses fabrics specially created to be in contact with the skin. To maintain their characteristics, we recommend gentle washing at a maximum temperature of 40° and air drying. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee the garment's effectiveness. They must never be ironed. These fluorescent socks may fade after several washes.
