Biotex® was born in 1990 from an intuition of Antonio Visani, who by putting to good use 30 years of craftsmanship of the highest quality, immediately wanted to improve the world of cycling that had always surrounded him. The first Italian company to specialise in technical sports underwear was born. Since then, he has been working daily with his daughter Barbara to make the use of polypropylene unique, to transform sporting fatigue into sustainable energy and the sporting gesture into better performance. And it is precisely from the combination of tradition and innovation that the production of our technical underwear for sporting activities is launched. With what objective? To bring technology and nature together. While from the very beginning we have dedicated ourselves to the search for the perfect material for the creation of skin-contact garments, we have never abandoned the tradition of handmade Italian knitwear. Behind every garment is the attention to detail, the meticulous choice of yarn and the care typical of handmade products, applied to a fibre that is state-of-the-art at the highest level.
